About this role

Act as a senior systems integration engineer supporting domain workstreams including Toolsets/IT, Processes, Training, Requirements, Test, Qualification and Acceptance. Ensure capability delivery into KSA commensurate with demanding programme timescales and contractual requirements. This highly visible role offers international exposure working collaboratively on-site and with customer teams in Saudi Arabia.

Work across domain workstreams such as Toolsets, Processes, Training including work experience, System Design, Requirements, Test, Qualification and Acceptance. Support LTEWP Product development and Certification Test programme management including Factory Acceptance, Site Acceptance Testing and customer Capability Demonstration. Generate and manage system problems including investigation and solution.

Input, plan and execute key customer and external stakeholder engagements like TRR’s, Briefings and customer-facing workshops. Sit at the heart of the LTEWP programme providing leadership, coordination and oversight of a comprehensive training framework. Ensure engineers are fully competent and deployment-ready in line with programme requirements.

Support ELC/LCM activities to manage product maturity in-line with required products and processes. Direct or virtual management of Test Team people. Invoke best practice and resolve continuous improvement initiatives on a major defence programme.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in STEM subjects or equivalent (experience may offset)
  • Competent in Windows toolsets (experience in PLM/DOORS toolsets desirable)
  • Relevant experience gained on an aircraft engineering project
  • Ability to develop, manage and present a range of complex data to a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience of working in an integration/delivery environment
  • Experience in liaising and managing a team with Team Leader experience
