Requirements
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable field
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing standards in aerospace
- Experience in manufacturing helicopter components or in the aviation industry
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing simulation tools
- Good understanding of composite materials and metal processing
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Knowledge of MTM is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for aircraft structures and components (MCA and systems)
- Collaborate closely with design, quality, and production to ensure efficient manufacturing flows
- Create work orders and manufacturing instructions enabling smooth production
- Analyze technical drawings and specifications to ensure manufacturability
- Select suitable materials, tools, and manufacturing technologies (e.g., composite materials, CNC machining)
- Continuously optimize existing processes and introduce new technologies into manufacturing
- Ensure compliance with aviation standards (e.g., EASA, FAA) and internal quality guidelines
