About this role
Anduril Industries transforms U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, powered by Lattice OS, an AI-driven operating system for realtime 3D command and control. The systems engineering team supports a Group 5 aircraft program focused on complex unmanned aerial systems. Candidates need strong software systems background for unmanned platforms and experience integrating test feedback.
Shape customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem software requirements with multidisciplinary teams. Develop system engineering artifacts, including system models, tracing from stakeholder inputs through design in a digital thread. Incorporate input from system safety, software engineering, and other disciplines to shape architecture and support airworthiness certification.
Work within multidisciplinary teams on ongoing development of a Group 5 autonomous aircraft. Collaborate with Chief Engineer and Program Management to communicate and manage program risks. Leverage expertise in UAS across the lifecycle, emphasizing aircraft systems and operational testing.
Bring cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking to military systems rapidly. Integrate feedback from test and evaluation campaigns to improve products. Contribute to mature aircraft programs including airworthiness certification in a strategic competition era.
