About this role
You are a key member of the AGNC-Avionics team, focused on developing, testing, and operating Spectrum’s RF avionics systems. Your responsibilities include managing technical interfaces, improving units and test setups, and supporting your colleagues with your expertise. This role places you at the heart of RF avionics innovation.
Own the design, qualification, and testing of Radio Frequency units and subsystems, such as antennas, transmitters, and GNSS receivers. Define and review requirements for RF units along with their test plans and setups. Execute environmental qualification and acceptance test campaigns, emphasizing automation.
Perform on-field avionics test campaigns, including stage check-outs and testing. Tackle various electronics design and test-related ad-hoc tasks across the team. Join Isar Aerospace, at the forefront of New Space for faster, better, cheaper access to space.

Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or comparable
- Exceptional knowledge of radiofrequency systems and wireless communications, preferably in space applications
- Enhanced knowledge of RF design principles, including design of passive and active RF circuits from UHF up to X-band
- Good knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- Experience with testing operations (functional, environmental, field testing)
- Good knowledge of automation principles and electronic test setups
- Fluent in English
