The role supports engineering activities for designing and maintaining current Test Equipment and Systems. Responsibilities include performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, assembly and testing of avionics test equipment. Requirements

  • High School diploma with 5+ years of documented experience and demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical tasks
  • Strong knowledge of Test Equipment and Systems, electronic troubleshooting, and failure analysis
  • Experience with engineering documentation, repair specifications, and test procedures
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • FAA Required pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, with significant experience in maintaining and supporting test equipment and systems
  • Working knowledge of FAA Part 145 repair station requirements and related regulations

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, assembly and testing of avionics test equipment
  • Provide support in failure analysis and root cause corrective action of test equipment and systems
  • Support development, maintenance, approval of test procedures, and gathering of engineering data
  • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of systems for testing Avionics
  • Perform THT/SMT solder/rework, printed circuit board assembly, cable assembly, and system wiring
  • Perform basic troubleshooting to locate and diagnose failures, as well as perform calibrations using standard electronic equipment
  • Manage workload, parts inventory, and planning of maintenance activities as instructed
  • Read, write and comprehend English written technical documentation
