We have an immediate opening for a senior-level Avionics Engineering Support primarily responsible for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM directorate, F-16 division at Hill AFB, UT. Through partnership and trust, we increase mission success for warfighters.

The role involves supporting regeneration and conversion of AMARG stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the Aerial Target Program. Provide avionics integration support including requirements definition, systems engineering milestone reviews, and verifying software/hardware designs. Assist with ground and flight test support for F-16 avionics changes.

F-16 Viper AFLCMC/WAM operates from Hill AFB with units at multiple bases, delivering multi-role fighter capabilities. The program features the largest Foreign Military Sales in U.S. history, with over 4,500 jets for 24 countries and production through 2030. It includes the Multi-National Fighter Program under a unique MOU framework.

Support site visits, TIMs, kit proofs, and TCTO development for F-16 operations. Assess supply system integrity, identify risks, and provide inputs to decision makers on fleet composition. Contribute to regeneration elements including budgeting and resource estimation for the weapon system.

Requirements

  • Senior-level expertise in avionics engineering for fighter aircraft programs
  • Knowledge of F-16 avionics systems and integration processes
  • Experience with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs)
  • Familiarity with systems engineering milestones, design verification, and test support
  • Ability to evaluate aircraft regeneration, supply chain risks, and facility requirements
  • Proficiency in supporting TIMs, kit proofs, and TCTO development for F-16
  • Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Support regeneration and conversion of AMARG stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the Aerial Target Program
  • Support requirements definition, systems engineering milestone review oversight, and approval of subsystem level designs
  • Verify completed software and hardware designs, aircraft designs, development, ground and flight test support, and avionics integration
  • Identify Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), or avionics changes on potential aircraft
  • Conduct site visits to identify facility upgrades and improvements required for F-16 operations
  • Support TIMs, provide avionics recommendations, accomplish kit proofs, and hands-on aircraft support
  • Assess F-16 supply system integrity to ensure spares and repair capabilities for refurbishments
  • Identify gaps or risks in the supply chain and provide avionics inputs for F-16 fleet decisions
