About this role
JetZero is developing a blended-wing body (BWB) aircraft that uses up to 50% less fuel and will accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. This addresses aviation's 4% share of global CO2 emissions, set to rise as air travel doubles by 2050. The role defines and manages aircraft system architectures using MBSE for Part 25 development.
Daily work involves developing and maintaining system architectures with MBSE methodologies. Create and manage models using Cameo Systems Modeler, defining functional, logical, and physical architectures. Collaborate with domain engineers to integrate requirements, interfaces, and behaviors.
The JetZero team consists of experienced aerospace professionals excited about carbon-free flight. This vision improves lives through sustainable travel better for passengers and airlines worldwide. Focus applies MBSE across diverse aircraft systems in a collaborative environment.
Support requirements management in Teamcenter and ensure traceability to verification artifacts. Contribute to innovative programs tackling efficiency walls in current aircraft. Advance sustainable air travel through advanced systems engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 10-15 years’ experience on Part 25 aircraft programs
- Hands-on experience applying MBSE in an aircraft or complex systems environment
- Strong working knowledge of system architecture development practices
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
