Join us to support a defense/aerospace project as an experienced Avionics Software & Hardware Certification Engineer.
You will ensure compliance with DO-178C for software and DO-254 for hardware standards while supporting certification activities for avionics components. Daily tasks include performing low-level and unit testing in embedded environments, conducting FPGA and ASIC verification, and utilizing VectorCast for automated testing. Work with Ada programming language in a specialized avionics setting.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams, providing guidance on certification processes in the aerospace or defense industry. Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Embedded Software, Computer Science or a comparable course of study or training
- Background in the aerospace or defence industry
- Strong knowledge of DO-178C & DO-254 certification requirements
- Professional experience in embedded software verification & FPGA/ASIC validation
- Proficient in VectorCast, Ada, and low-level software testing
- Excellent communication skills to work across teams and stakeholders
- Professional in English, both written and spoken
- Ideally experience in Eurofighter projects
