Develop and manage FPGA/PLD applications for aerospace controllers, encompassing the full DO-254 lifecycle from requirements capture to design verification. Engage in FPGA/PLD architecture development and hardware-software interface design. Perform code reviews, debugging on target hardware, and FPGA/PLD verification.

Hybrid working balances time between the office, home or another remote location, with a minimum of three days per week in the workplace for collaboration. Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Communication, or Computer Engineering
  • Extensive experience in FPGA development within the aerospace industry, adhering to DO-254 standards
  • Proficiency in development and verification languages such as VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Python
  • Familiarity with FPGA tools like Siemens Modelsim/Questa, HDL Designer, Xilinx Vivado, Microsemi Libero, and Intel Quartus
  • Knowledge of standards like RTCA DO-254, SAE ARP4754/A, or ISO 26262
  • Leadership qualities and ability to work autonomously
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage FPGA/PLD applications for aerospace controllers, encompassing the full DO-254 lifecycle from requirements capture to design verification
  • Engage in FPGA/PLD architecture development and hardware-software interface design
  • Perform code reviews, debugging on target hardware, and FPGA/PLD verification
  • Create and oversee the documentation and development of processes and guidelines for FPGA/PLD
