About this role

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII-MT), is seeking Junior, Mid-Level, and Senior Radar Systems Engineers to join our dynamic team supporting advanced radar system development. Junior-level engineers assist with technical planning, system design, system integration, and verification and validation efforts while working closely with senior engineers and external partners. They gain hands-on experience across the full system lifecycle from concept and design through test and operation.

Mid-Level Radar Systems Engineers contribute more independently to technical activities, performing detailed analyses, supporting integration efforts, and helping shape system-level design decisions. They mentor junior team members and engage directly with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technical alignment. Senior engineers lead complex radar engineering efforts, driving system architecture decisions and overseeing integration and test activities.

This role resides within Warfare Systems, comprising cyber and mission IT, electronic warfare, and C5ISR systems. HII supports sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners in intelligence and cyber operations. The position is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio, within commutable distance from Beavercreek, Fairborn, Dayton, and Riverside.

Across all levels, roles offer opportunities to translate customer needs into robust hardware and software specifications in a collaborative, agile environment.
