About this role

StandardAero seeks motivated, eager, and innovative students to join maintenance teams as Propulsion Engineer Interns for summer 2026. Interns gain hands-on industry experience supporting the Engine Maintenance Department. Work involves mechanical systems, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Partner with an existing Engineering Team to support turbofan maintenance and overhaul operations. Work with experienced Propulsion Engineers on repair, troubleshooting, reporting, and documentation processes. Support Propulsion Engineers with troubleshooting and equipment reliability projects.

Assist in engineering projects, data collection, and process improvement. Help update technical documentation, drawings, and maintenance procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant engineering bachelor's program
  • Proficient with Excel, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
  • Available to work full-time on-site for 10-12 weeks
  • Submit to FAA and TSA screening and security requirements
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
