Inertial Aerospace, a HEICO Company, is hiring an Aerospace Electronics Technician to join our Production team. With decades of experience in the aviation industry, the company leads in repairing inertial navigation equipment and aircraft avionics. The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing inertial navigation systems using computerized test equipment, standard electronic tools, hand tools, schematics, and instructions. Accurate completion of maintenance, inventory, and repair logs is essential. A variety of hand or power tools and test equipment will be used daily.

Initial training occurs on first shift for up to 6 months at the Highland Heights, OH facility. Proficient technicians shift to 2:00pm to 10:30pm hours with a $1.00/hour differential. Self-motivated individuals with attention to detail thrive in this fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting and repairing electronic components
  • Basic knowledge of blueprints and/or schematics
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
  • Position is safety sensitive and subject to pre-employment drug screening, background check, and random drug-testing program

Responsibilities

  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair inertial navigation equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair inertial navigation systems utilizing computerized test equipment, standard electronic equipment, hand tools, detailed drawings, schematics, parts lists, and verbal or written instructions
  • Accurately complete maintenance, inventory, and repair logs
  • Use a variety of hand or power tools and test equipment
  • Work efficiently both with a team and independently as a self-motivated individual with attention to detail
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
