The Avionics Engineer will join the Avionic Systems area at the Venegono Superiore site.

The resource will be inserted within the Avionic Systems unit, specifically in the Avionic Systems Engineering M-346 Block 20 discipline. Main responsibilities include architectural analysis relative to the avionics system and defining, managing, controlling project requirements for system design in the M-346 Block 20 aircraft avionics context.

Daily work involves managing relationships with equipment suppliers and contributing to System Design documentation to conduct project reviews like System Requirements Review, Preliminary/Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review with the internal product development team and suppliers/partners.

The role offers involvement in principal global strategic programs as technological and industrial partner to Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and enterprises. It supports defining and planning product test and qualification activities in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Aerospace
  • At least 2 years of experience in the aeronautical sector in avionics systems, particularly onboard displays
  • Knowledge of main basic avionics systems
  • Experience in defining requirements for onboard equipment
  • Proficiency with tools DOORS, Serena Dimensions
  • Knowledge of standards MIL STD 1553, ARINC 429
  • English level B1/B2 or higher written and spoken
  • Availability for short business trips

Responsibilities

  • Perform architectural analysis relative to the avionics system
  • Define, manage and control project requirements for system design in the context of M-346 Block 20 aircraft avionics
  • Manage relationships with equipment suppliers
  • Contribute to System Design documentation for project reviews (System Requirements Review, Preliminary/Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review) with internal team and suppliers/partners
  • Define and plan product test and qualification activities
