About this role

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for energetic and innovative Aerodynamics Engineers - Aerodynamic Analysis (Experienced or Senior) to join the BCA Flight Sciences team. The team has a growing demand for engineering talent to support 787 production and delivery activities. They are responsible for resolving aerodynamic issues identified during manufacturing and demonstrating compliance for delivery.

As an Aerodynamics Engineer, you will work on items that directly impact aircraft safety and quality on delivery and aircraft performance in service. The team is part of the larger Flight Sciences organization and may support other programs as required. Our team is currently hiring for Experienced (Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) levels.

You will perform aerodynamic analysis to support BCA Flight Sciences South Carolina statement of work. Drive resolution of aerodynamic issues during aircraft manufacturing and customer delivery. Demonstrate compliance with aerodynamic regulations and customer requirements.

Conduct aerodynamic tests and develop and improve aerodynamic analysis tools and processes. This role offers opportunities to contribute to aircraft safety and performance in a dynamic production environment. Join a team focused on innovation in flight sciences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent for Level 4
  • Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering or related discipline
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of aerodynamic analysis
  • Experience with Aerodynamics Engineering
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations related to aerodynamics
  • Experience with 787 production support
