Join the JETSII Contract as a Spaceflight Hardware Propulsion Engineer.
Provide support to national and international customers for missions including International Space, visiting vehicles, and Commercial Crew. Resolve unique problems in Propulsion Subsystems and support flight Anomaly Resolution and In-Flight Investigations. Write technical and progress reports for technical groups and agencies.
Bring industry knowledge in component certification, propulsion design, and fluid systems to ground test and spaceflight development. Coordinate with teams at NASA centers across the United States. Tackle exciting challenges benefiting people on Earth and in space.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-10 years of related experience
- Spacecraft propulsion experience with a focus on fluid and mechanical analysis of systems and components
- Experience in the design, assembly, testing, certification, and operation of space propulsion systems and components
- Experience coordinating space propulsion systems requirements verification and validation between multiple organizations
- Knowledge of mechanical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, material selection, testing, and office software
- Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, and ability to coordinate support from technical disciplines
- Confident in knowledge and experience to discuss propulsion topics with subject matter experts
Responsibilities
- Provide support to national and international customers for upcoming missions including International Space, visiting vehicles, and Commercial Crew customers
- Write technical and progress reports covering assigned tasks for other technical groups and agencies
- Resolve unique or novel problems, conditions, and issues related to Propulsion Subsystems
- Provide support for flight Anomaly Resolution review and In-Flight Investigation review
- Apply industry knowledge in component and system certification and impacts of component design and operating environment
- Support design and development of ground test and space flight systems for propulsion and fluid systems
- Perform other duties as required
