About this role

This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the aerodynamic design and development of next-generation turbomachinery for propulsion and power generation applications. You will drive aerodynamic innovation across centrifugal and axial compressors, fans, and turbines. Contributions span from early concept definition through detailed CFD analysis, rig testing, and validation across the entire product lifecycle.

Develop and refine 1D meanline, throughflow, and reduced-order aerodynamic models for compressors and turbines. Perform high-fidelity CFD simulations for on-design and off-design conditions using ANSYS CFX, Fluent, NUMECA Fine/Turbo, or equivalent tools. Generate high-quality meshes using TurboGrid, ICEM, AutoGrid, or similar tools while investigating complex flow phenomena.

Support aerodynamic design studies, parametric trade studies, and rig test planning with data analysis. Collaborate closely with aerothermal, structural, mechanical design, and test teams. Participate in technical reviews, cross-functional discussions, and exchanges with suppliers, customers, and research partners.

Contribute to internal R&T initiatives focused on advanced compressor and turbine aerodynamic technologies. Assist in correlating computational predictions with rig or engine test data. Develop and improve aerodynamic toolchains and automation workflows for ongoing innovation.
