GE Vernova

MX · Full-time · MXN 120,000 – MXN 240,000

About this role

As a Product Services Engineering (PSE) Aero Performance Intern, you will support the Aero Performance team. The role involves developing a NPSS environment using Python-based code for critical thermodynamic tools originally created with CWS (Matlab-based code). These tools characterize fleet performance for several aeroderivative products.

You will create the thermodynamic model environment by running NPSS language from the former CWS language. This includes performance tools migration to extend evaluation coverage for new configurations in the installed fleet. Daily tasks focus on updating these essential tools for broader application.

Working within GE Vernova's Gas Power business, you join a team engineering advanced, efficient solutions. The environment supports collaboration on aeroderivative product performance characterization. Periodic follow-up and report-out sessions ensure progress alignment.

You will propose suitable solutions for modeling and validation, building skills in algorithm development. The internship offers hands-on experience with Matlab and Python in aerospace applications. It fosters growth through real-world challenges in thermodynamic modeling.

Requirements

  • Student in Computer Systems, Programming or related disciplines with graduation date in late 2026 or 2027
