About this role

Teledyne Technologies provides enabling technologies for aerospace and defense markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. The company seeks individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a winning team. This role focuses on avionics engineering for target missiles.

Job duties include engineering target missile electrical requirements, design, integration, and test. Responsibilities encompass review of component selection, oversight of qualification testing, and review of design review objective evidence. Additional tasks involve updating interface control documents, specifications, and supporting failure review boards for root cause determination.

Duties also cover assembly, integration, test, and launch of target missiles. The role demands broad knowledge of missile systems designs, avionics, telemetry, and hardware integration procedures. Electrical systems interface design and test for multi-component avionics packages are central.

Team members demonstrate competencies in problem solving, project management, and technical skills. They excel in oral and written communication, teamwork, business acumen, ethics, and organizational support. Opportunities exist to pursue training, build knowledge, and contribute to high-reliability aerospace projects.
